Looking for a Training Plan Template

Can anyone provide a link to an annual and or weekly training plan template? I'm looking to develop a plan based on Friel's book and haven't found any templates online.

Thanks!

TrainingPeaks has many different plans for sale, depending on your goals, for $30 on up, including plans by Friel.

Hey Ralphie,
can you describe what you mean by a training plan template? There are tons of pre-made training plans available out there. Are you looking for a form that allows you to build your own training plan but gives you guidance on the training hours? With a little bit more detail you should get some more help from folks here.

Hi Matt,

I'm looking for an excel spreadsheet similar to this one that someone on ****** directed me to. I would like develop my own plan but don't feel like investing much (read "any") time into creating the template. I know people can do some pretty cool things as far as creating spreadsheets for budget etc. and wanted to see what's out there as far as blank "training templates."

What is it that you want the template to do for you? When building a training plan, I usually design the overall plan around the goal events I have. Then I fill in the workouts by week a few weeks at a time based on training period, schedule and available training hours. I rarely start with a yearly hour figure.

I pretty much was looking for exactly that template I linked to above. I.e. Something with rows laid out by week and columns labeled with different categories of workouts and events that I can just fill in.

I do have an overall annual goal for training hours but plan to fill in specific weekly workouts in a few weeks at a time to maintain flexibility.
