Polar Question...

I have recently bought a Polar S150 HRM. It has bike functions included. Does anyone know how to clear out the previous exercise set? I have looked in the manual and on the website and can't find it. There is a file function where you look at what you have done last, but I don't know how to clear it for the next session. I though maybe it just started over when you started a new exercise session, but it still has my mileage from my bike ride on Sunday included in my run last night! Help....

As long as you went back to "home" (press lower left button until you get the clock display), the next time you start, it should automatically clear everything except for the odometer, which will keep track of your long-term mileage. If the time shows the time of your most recent ride, then it cleared the way it was supposed to.

I suspect you're looking at the odometer. I did that too when I first got it. Really, I think the menu system on the polar 150 is about the worst interface to anything I've ever seen. Maybe you can't do better with five buttons, though... Spend some more time with the manual.

I think you are talking about clearing the trip feature.. Press the start button, it looks for a heart rate..

Then use the top right button to toggle through the cycling features, find the trip reading

Now hold down the top left button, the trip distance will begin flashing, hold for another 3 seconds and it will clear to zero..

On my M62 model, I think I have to run the stopwatch for 5 minutes in order to clear the file...the file then becomes the most recent 5+ minute set.
