Nutritionist saying hello

Hey guys,

just wanted to say hello but seeing as I'm not a cyclist but rather a professional who is interested in cyclists I thought this forum might be better than the general introduction forum.

Anyway, my name is Jordan and I'm a recently graduated sports nutritionist. I did all of my research work for my dissertation on elite cyclists so I thought I'd join the forum to give advice and tips etc. I have a blog as well but I'm uncertain of the link posting policy (let me know if I can post a link). I'm currently based in Manchester, UK but I'd be more than happy to give some advice on here for free (althought most cyclists know more than I do haha!)

A couple of questions for you Jordan:

1. What is the current suggestion for carb- protein ratio for someone who cycles regularly, with occasional long distances?

2. Is my age (50) or my nutrition the larger factor in preventing me from building new muscle and growing endurance while training?
