PowerGel recipe?
 

Hi Everyone!

I live in Germany and like riding a lot when the weather isn't too bad. What I've been looking for since ages are recipes for homemade PowerGel. It's almost impossible to find the commercial stuff here and if you find it you can hardly afford it. I read a lot of earlier posts but didn't find any specific recipes.:confused:

If anyone could help me I'd be really happy!

I used to make a karol surup or honey mixture. I prefer the karol surup. I bought a 4 oz plastic bottle used for power gel.
I added the surup and a scoop of poweraid powder or any type of drink powder you like. Do this the night before as it takes the powder awhile to disolve in the surup. I guess you could add a spoonful of instance coffee the night before to the mixture if you like that kind of boost but I never tried it. What I liked best besides saving lots of money is you dont end up with a sticky wrapper and you dont have to litter as I have seen too many bikers do.
