Dogma F8 v Cervélo S3
Hi everyone!
I’m just about to start my first ironman season and looking to upgrade my kit. I was originally looking at TT bikes but have decided that I can only afford one expensive bike, and I’d like it to be more of an all rounder (I’m unlikely to win the ironman so better off with something I can race and ride on all occasions!).
My LBS has given me a few options but the two that really call out are a really well priced Dogma F8 and the Cervélo S3/5 - honestly though I’m very much torn. Ive ridden both and enjoy the experience but just wanted to get a sense of what your experiences have been with these frames.
Both have the same group set and about $600 apart
Thanks ahead of time for your input

I have no experience with the Cervelo but I do have an F8 and I love it. I wouldn't trade it for anything at this point. Very responsive and stable ride. I'm running DA Di2 with Zipp 454 NSW's.

Sounds like the ultimate direction you're going is the Ironman. The latest LAVA Magazine bike count in 2017 was Cervelo 570 out of 2,408 bikes. Pinarello count was 4.
Doesn't mean much for you. But I would ask those 570, which "other bike" they ride. The results could be all over the place.
