Cramps!!
Any time I run.........I get this terrible stitch in my side. You know the feeling.........it is like someone is jamming a screw driver into my side. Does anyone know what is causing this? Does anyone know how to get rid of the problem? I am very careful about drinking too much before/during races. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in adavance.

too much air. actually, not getting rid of your air.
Breathe in through the nose, out through the mouth. It's not practical in a race situation, but you'll figure out how breathing a little slower, and exhaling fully helps.

I breath really long, and usaully dont get cramps. One guy that I race against in a TT series, breathes really fast but long, if you know what i mean, said it doenst give him cramps. I can tell when I am slow, cus all I hear is him comming up behind me.

I cramp up bad, same spot. I figured it had something to do with my breathing, but I can't seem to get it under control. I suck major wind when I run. I'm trying to learn the "chi running" technique but it's hard when you just hate to run.
