I didn't really plan to buy a new bike...

I had planned to wait until early next spring when my employer hands out the usual profit-sharing bonuses.

But a 2 year old Cervelo P3 for $1800 was simply too good a deal to pass up, especially since Cervelo has announce they won't be making either the P3 or the P3SL after this year.

Dura Ace 9 Speed
Ritchey Deep rim wheels
Continental ultra gator skins tires
X lab flat wing (holds water bottles, tubes, CO2's)
Computer with Cadence
New Dura Ace chain
Syntace bars
Carbon Cervelo Aero fork and seatpost

I'm actually lusting over how clean your garage is! But the bike is nice, too.

If I told you the garage was carbon fiber, it would really drive the people here nuts As for the cleanliness, that problem has been fixed - it was only a temporary aberration and we managed to contain it to a small area.

Sounds familiar. I just picked one up too. A couple weeks ago my wife and I were going into the LBS to get some new arm/knee warmers. The night before she jokes with me (or so she thought) "what would you do if they had a P3 for a really good deal?" Well, turns out they did; $3200 Canadian plus they through in some free stuff (pedals, etc.). I picked it up a couple days later. As with you I was planning to wait until the spring; now that Cervelo has announced that they won't be made anymore I'm glad I got it now!
