A (mini) bike forum ride

chrisesposito and I decided to make hay while the sun shone and went for a lovely ride today along the Sammamish River Trail up here in the Seattle suburbs. I think it warmed up to somewhere in the 40s, and my fingers were actually HOT by the time we finished around noon. We just took a leisurely 28 mile out-and-back... along with a hundred or so of our closest friends. (Turns out we weren't the only ones taking advantage of a break in the rain.)

Here's a picture taken at the turnaround point by a lovely old gentleman (whom we later saw with about 10 of his other 70-and-older pals, all in matching gear... rock on you geriatrics! I hope I can still bike when I'm 75!)

Just thought I'd share... enjoy the rest of the weekend. Hope it's sunny where you are...

Great pic. Nice background. When I went up to visit the MS HQ, the rain just wouldn't stop. Oh, I love CA

Cool. Glad you guys were able to get some miles in! I would typically add remarks about how it was 70+ when I rode today but I'll refrain.

What? And be robbed of that fabulous Michelin-look we have? Nonsense! Warmth is for wimps!
