Music For Tri Video

My sister is doing her first Tri in a couple of weekends and I promised her that I would video tape it for her. I plan on putting it onto dvd and have some really cool music playing during it, but I don't know what kind of songs to use. Anybody have suggestions of some really motivating, inspiring songs? Thanks!

Sooooo many options.......some off the top of my head...most in my iPod

"I Ran" - Flock of Seagulls
"Break My Stride" - Matthew Wilder
The theme from Charriots of Fire is always a good one
While we're at it, the American Flyers soundtrack has some good stuff
Highway to Hell - AC/DC
Gonna Make You Sweat - C&C Music Factory
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Cyndi Lauper
Hurts So Good - John Cougar
Danger Zone - Kenny Loggins
Where are we runnin' - Lenny Kravitz
Gettin Jiggy Wit It - Will Smith
Insanity - Boingo
Get some vid of her running away from you and use "Baby Got Back" - That would be fricken' awesome

I've got to second all these... great picks...

Some additional ones that I can think of:
Eye of the Tiger: Stereotypical pre-race song...
Bicycle: Queen
among many others that are totally escaping me right now...

For the post-race recovery soundtrack after a hot tub and a few beers you could use "Comfortably Numb", from Pink Floyd.

never ever ever ever ever ever pick a song for a video soundtrack based on the lyrics. A lot of those are good suggestions, but I take issue with the ones that don't match the ambience of a triathlon in any other way than the lyrics. What starts off as mildly amusing, with a long enough video, can turn into something boring and annoying.

If you want to mix the two, Transistor's "look whose perfect now" has a nice beat that's fast enough that it can fit into fast paced video, with a few mellow parts in it as well.

Gosh, no one suggested "Run Like Hell" by Pink Floyd?! It's got the name and the beat!

Also, one could always open up the DVD with Alan Parsons' "Sirius", better known by some as that song they played at Bulls games when Jordan played.

Ending credits would be The Long Race by Bruce Hornsby and the Range.
