Cervelo P2C or Quintana Roo Lucero (yes, under $3K), or Elite

Hi,
I'm new in triathlon, and on a borrowed bike right now. It's a road bike with tri bars, etc. I'm doing well on the bike, and need to buy my own. I'm doing a Sprint in a couple weeks, an Olympic in Sept. and I just signed up for Eagleman next June. I don't want to buy a bike and then in a year want to get a better one. I'm in the budget up to $3000, give or take. I have not found anywhere local with my size to try them, but in doing my HW and asking around, it sounds like the Cervelo P2C and the Q.Roo Lucero (found a deal on Nytro for under $3000) are what I'm looking for. I'm short (5'4"), and a female, if that matters in all this. I also know of a local trainer who is switching from a Cervelo P3C to an Elite T-class (which is aluminum, so I don't get it). I don't know how to make this decision without riding either, so I'm looking for any feedback I can get on these bikes.
Thanks so much in advance.

The first thing everyone here will tell you is that you definitely need to ride each bike to figure out the proper fit before spending that much money on a bike. It would be a shame to spend $3,000 on a bike and not be able to ride it comfortably.

Lookout for bvfrompc she'll tell you that you don't deserve a nice bike..... apparently she is an ironman and doesn't like to give new people advice... she just likes criticizing them..... I say get the bike that fits you best...
