First tri this summer

I just turned 15 two days ago and decided to challenge myself. I am an avid cyclist and a decent runner. So I decided to challenge myself to completeing a sprint triatlon before next school year. I am well aware that it is harder than it looks. My worries surround the swim. And I have never tried to ride my bike for awhile and then run(I do have a road bike and am planning on buying some aero bars for 50 bucks). Does anybody have some advice for a newb? I hope to enjoy the experience and turn it into a new hobby.

Practice a lot, especially running right after a ride.

If you're worried about the swim, I would join a tri or even a master's swim group to get your distances up.

Spend a lot of time in the pool. Focus on getting comfortable with breathing on both sides.

Practice your transitions. And do bricks (bike-run workouts)--- they hurt but they'll make you strong.
