Hydration system options

Looking to select a hydration system for my new bike, and wanted to hear some opinions on whats best. I was originally thinking of getting a 2 chamber system but have read things taht the behind the seat option is more aero.......so what type of system are you using and are you happy with it? pros cons...thanks again for any help

...I just have bottles. Lots of group riding has taught me not to drop them. Works for me.

Um...pro? Cheap, already there.

Con? Not sexy I guess. Some aero interference...but then consider the turbulence that our pistoning tree-branch lower legs stir up pedaling and it's not so bad.

For racing or training?

I have a Profile Design bottle that I use only for Half Ironman races and longer. I like that it's there in my face to remind me to take in liquid. There's a picture of the Bontrager bottle in the current Lava magazine that looks pretty cool. I think the mounting might be better and it looks like they have a better option for limiting splashing.

Normally I just ride with cages behind my seat. It's not really that they are more aero but once the air gets to them, it is already "dirty". It's also good for longer races because you can use one of the cages for your spares/tools.

OK a few issues..What do you ride? How good are you? what is your budget?
I use water bottles old school round 1 maybe 2 depending on length.....
Unless you are a beast with nice bike and bike $$$ to spend why bother with much else?

Just saying

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=177942i picked up an xlab rear hydration system, i believe i paid about $55 for it...the prices range, so just shop around. holds two bottles, and you can carry a tube, along with a couple of tanks and your pump.

Mine came in RED.
