Wheels Opinions Wanted
 

I'm thinking of a new line of handbuilt wheels catering to Clydes and Athenas, as well as triathletes and road racers who want a slightly heavier, more durable aero wheel. I'm looking at a couple different deep aero rims, but would build these either 28/32 or 32/32 for extra strength. The costs would also be significantly less than many of the other wheels out there for similar profiles.

Sounds good. I had some built, 30mm rim 32 front and rear :)

The purpose behind the idea is to allow for training on sturdy aero wheelsets without trashing expensive race wheels. In training, the extra weight is not an issue, and this should allow for better handling with aero carbon wheels.

If you are just going to use them for training why go aero at all? Get some cheap alex rims with heavy duty spokes.
