Racing with Garmin FR60
I got a Garmin FR60 about a month ago and I love it. I have heard some people complain that the distance is inaccurate when using the foot pod but I have found the opposite to be true. I plan on getting the bike sensor for christmas.
The question that I have is that it doesn't seem to be able to switch between running and cycling without stopping. Does anyone have anyone have any experience racing with this setup? |
Should have waited and gotten the 910XT

Why? It costs four times more and it is larger. I like the foot pod and don't really care about GPS. The only problem that I see is switching between running and biking. Really the problem that I foresee is that it needs to switch modes in order to communicate with either the foot pod or bike speed/cadence sensor. I don't have the bike sensor yet, so I don't know if it will be a problem or not.

Haven't used the FR60. Waiting for the 910!!! But, I use my bike computer for bike and 410 for running. It'll all be the same when I have the 910.

It is not set up for quick transition
