SwiMP3
Has anyone tried this SwiMP3? The concept sounds awesome but I'm skeptical as to how well it works.

I have a hard enough time counting laps. I don't need any more distractions. And, they are very expensive; but, they do sound cool.

its cool, but how many of you go on 2 or 3 hour swims? i dont think you'll really need it..

Oh, I would love it alright, I usually swim for a good hour; sometimes more, sometimes less. And I'm one of those people that really gets a better workout when I can do it to some good tunes. Not to mention swimming laps is boring! Several years ago I tried a "waterproof" radio that clipped onto your goggle strap, but I couldn't get reception on the thing once I was in the pool. I am not questioning whether the player would be a good gadget for me, but rather the quality of this particular item.
From the pics on the website, it looks like it could be a little bulky. Also they mention it comes with a rechargable battery, and sometimes those just dont seem to last. I am curious if anyone out there has actually used this thing. It seems like it's pretty new on the market - maybe I should give it time and see how the reviews come out. |
Well im on the swim team for my high school and we had 3:30 hour practices during christmas break. Some days we weight lifted for and hour but some we swam the whole time

Please tell me this is a JOKE!!!!

I am tempted to buy it from a reliable on-line retailer with a "no questions asked" refund policy--if the sound sucks, simply return it. Of course, most items can't be returned once they have been immersed in water.

i see this product as something everyone thought of, but only one person made.
Looks like it could work but I dunno... Peace Tyler |
