Opinions on 2002 Cervelo P3

So I am in the process of buying my first road bike and saw what seems like a great deal on Craiglist for a used 2002 Cervelo P3 for $825. While I am not actually planning on any triathlons in the near future, this bike seems to have everything I am looking for in a bicycle. And it falls within my price range (I'm hoping to spend under $1000)! It has an aluminum frame with a carbon fork, Ultegra components, and Velomax wheels. This all sounds like a good deal to me, but I wanted to get some opinions from people who might be a bit more familiar with Cervelo/triathlon bikes than I am. Any thoughts? Thanks!
