I'm in Cornwall - didn't see any other posts from the area, but I know we have a good number of riders. Originally I'm from Derby, and I still go back occasionally.

I'm just down the road in Hadleigh (the Suffolk one) and have to say finding good trails is relatively easy. What's not so good is that most are footpaths, which, as we know are not for cyclists, and therefore am getting more and more abuse from walkers (dog walkers, mainly) plus the ever increasingly grumpy farmer. I understand the law but struggle to see how/ why cyclists are, sadly, such pariahs (both trail and road).
