deciding on a new front carrier
howdie yall,
i am a veggie burger bicycle vendor and planning a new front carrie, more stronger. The current front carrier is attached to the handle bars, so when i steer to the left, the carrier also swings to the left. Its pretty okay to ride that way. I was thinking about a front carrier that would be welded on the head tube of the frame. Those kind of carriers don't move to the left or right but are fixed straight forward. Anyone experience with both types, and whats your favorite, which is the most easy and stable. My front carrier will carry a heavy load of 15 kg. |
anyone? any thoughts on front carrier fixed to the head tube vs fixed to the handlebars?

Wow, I didn't realise you were looking to go that big, I suspect very few people will have direct experience with a setup like this.
yeah, I have ideas I'm considering, but much smaller. like I've seen hard shell bowling ball cases that I was thinking might work for me. or a small hardshell overnight case. no bigger than something like this actually that's a little bigger than I was remembering too. |
