Long cargo rack options for DIY recumbent cargo bike?
I am working on a recumbent Bike E2 (tandem) which I scored a few months ago and which I want to convert more into a cargo bike. I already removed the rear seat and rear handlebar. I will also take the pedals off the rear crank set. Since I am now having a frame with a long flat surface behind the seat I am looking for rack options. Needs to be wide enough for panniers on each side which clear the rear suspension arm and the rotating rear crank case. Also a long removable basket for the top might be cool. Basically looking for ideas.

Ah you adapted a Bike E, fitting existing parts,,, plumbing material used for that back support?
Bike E as a company is long gone..
Now you build a custom rack in your shop Or hire it out .. can you Braze?

For those interested, here is what the original poster ended up doing. More information can be found by searching the recumbent forums.

But I have just sold the bike. I wanted to electrify it but eventually found a used long tail cargo eBike for far less of what it would have cost me to convert this bike to an ebike.
