Tire experiences - utility

Here's my latest tires that are about done. Still spinning good at 6000 miles. Maxxis Holy Roller 26x2.4. I don't rotate. Run about 32 psi. Had thorns, glass, and steel belt punctures, but it went the distance.

Good you shouldn't ever rotate a bicycle tire. It is not like a car at all they both wear and if your fronts are bad you will have steering issues and you have most of your weight at the rear and a flat back there is a pain.

Maxxis makes a decent tire. If you want the ultimate it would be the Schwalbe Pick up but it is a heavy tire. We sold them on Tern GSDs so people didn't get flats.

Good to know about the Schwalbe tire. I have a new box of 100 patches. Last box lasted around 45k miles. Looks like some of those cargo tires are almost 2x the price as they are double thick casing.
