Montanafan, that is one gorgeous bike! I didn't know that such woody fenders existed. Thanks for showing me those!
The other posters have some great bikes too! Wow, this thread is encouraging! |
Weekend tourer and a great little tow vehicle too...

Be sure to get the longest spindle possible if you do the conversion,or you won`t be able to keep the stand. |

I've been developing a cargo trailer for cottage industry manufacture in Minneapolis USA - I'm about to launch the "c" model but meanwhile at my real job I had a large stage set going into the Minneapolis Convention Center. The exhibit halls are about the size of a US city block so you can get quite worn out fetching tools and fasteners back and forth across the hall for the union crew so I brought the prototype with me to help. In addition to making things go faster and easier, it was a lot of fun - you'll never ride on smoother cement - it was like being at a velodrome!

I like the Caddy Badge! Nice touch.

Cool video of a Haley Trike with Sara and Stephen in Philly.
I love these because the prototype was built in my courtyard in Savannah, GA when Stephen helped us restore our 1873 house. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NcGpc0w8vk www.haleytrikes.com |

Thought some of you might appreciate the cycle truck I just built. So far I've carried my 185lb friend on it without any trouble, slow speeds, and turns are effortless since the rack is mounted to the frame. NO WHEEL FLOP. Gonna have to throw a party soon so I have an excuse to put a full keg on it. Here's mine: http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/b...8Madsen005.jpg |
here is mine. i finally have a couple of picture of it.

Latest reincarnation of my old beater Sports. I have had this bike since 1982, it was my only form of personal transportation for several years and went into semi retirement in 1992. Just recently dug out and given a quick once over. Conservative estimate is that it has over 30,000 miles on it. I have a bit more to do to it, mainly involving lighting and then it will become a grocery getter and pub crawl bike...gotta have some way to get those growlers home!:innocent:

My yellow farm bike

Here's my yellow farm bike. I built it from the ground up out of three junk roadmasters
Attachment 171387 Hualin groceries at school Attachment 171388 Pickin cucumbers Attachment 171389 I plan to add two more wheels and a 2ft wide basket Attachment 171390 Mods: 1ft. enclosed basket, two rod holders, trailer hitch, storage container on handle bars Attachment 171391 Bike with trailer |
I like the yellow farm bike a lot. I worked on farms before, so I have a clear understanding of how a bike like that comes in handy. In fact, there was a "farm bike" on the last farm that I worked on. It was a 24" bmx with baskets on the front and rear. It had long cranks and was fairly easy to peddle.

That ute is a beaut! Get it? :knee slap:

owenfinn,
When are we going to see some loaded pics? Are you getting the Mundo bags and deck? I wish I could have rocked my Big Dummy when I was in Okinawa. |

Nice Mundo. You should post a photo of your Curve next it for scale.

Made me surly an all in one road bike with hauling abilities. Still need to get an Old Man Mountain Rack to clear the Travel Agents, but I love this thing. Sram Apex is supposed to eliminate the need for a triple which works out fine for the hauling. Since it can't do disk brakes, the ceramic rims will be the next best thing for wet weather paired with the power of V brakes

Nice crosscheck. Mine is on my blog, www.lovetocycle.wordpress.com if you want to check it out. I love the SRAM shifters. Are those rims really better for braking? Do you have to get ceramic specific brake pads?

That really is a seriously good looking Cross Czech. Well put together. How do you like the BAW trailer? I love the looks and claimed capacity.
