New Wide Stance Center Stand

Looking at the Yuba bikes web site it appears that Yuba has a new wide stance center stand to be available in mid April.

It has articulated arms so that they fold inwards as the stand is raised and outward as it is deployed.

Based on photos it appears that it should fit most frames with either a center frame plate for stand mounting or chain stays with room for mounting a standard side stand that clamps to the chain stays behind the bottom bracket. Costs a lot less than the Xtracycle or Rolling Jackass longtail bike stands though it looks like it would be difficult to mount to either of those bikes w/o making your own adapter plate.

I have NO connection to Yuba at all. I may get one to try on my Swobo Dixon though when available.

I'm waiting for one of those to put on my Mundo V3. Most vertical lift stands I've seen have looked terribly narrow and unstable for cargo bike usage. The Stand Alone looks wide enough to actually be useful.
