Need a good bike chain and bag

Since I'm going to start cycling to Uni next year I need a good chain and back to carry it. I was thinking about something no-nonsense like the following:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Onguard-Mast...ref=pd_cp_sg_2

and

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Reece-Cycles...844407&sr=1-25

I know that chain may be for moterbikes but it looks a damn sight tougher than the other chains on amazon.

Any ideas on what to get?

I have one of those On guard chains & locks, I paid £7.99 for it from a local stocks everything store here in Norwich. The lock is complete and utter cheap rubbish, and the chain links are made of mild steel; so apart from the looks, it provides no real security. I use it to lock Lois' and my already personally locked bikes together in a locked garden shed .... .... and none of them will stop a determined thief; just slow them down.

Don't skimp on a cycle lock and chain, but buy the very best you can afford; They'll provide your Bicycle with the security it deserves and will last for years, so you'll be saving a lot of money in the long term.

Ironically, today the lady who works in the printing shop next to Cargo Cycles broke her key off in the On guard lock she owned and it took me about 2 minutes or so to saw through the lock's shackle (which should be hardened) with a standard 12 inch hacksaw, but looking on the bright side now I have about 1 metre of reasonably heavy anchor chain for my boat

Would these be the same too?

It's mainly for locking my bike in the Uni bike part infront of the main reception for next year.
