Second thoughts?
Been looking for a trailer, yard sales, thrift stores.
Ran across this one and bought it, gave a good bit of money for it, and it may need new tubes. That's another five dollars. Should I fix the tires, or try to sell it and eat my lose? It is an older Burley De-Lite I think? No stroller thing with it. http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/2204/onedollarn.jpg I gave one dollar for it! That's $1 !:lol::lol: :love::love: :D:D:D |
Dang! Haha nice find. I was reading the top thinking to myself "why the hell would he sell it?"
Nice! |
The story:
Young couple getting married in Sept bought a house from the bank, it was a hostile foreclosure. Sheriffs deputies had to block them from entering the house and a fight broke out, one deputy was injured. The home owners were arrested. In court they threatened the judge and threatened to burn the house. They don't have to worry about housing for the next five years. The young couple got the house complete, from food to toothpaste. TVs to underwear. Garage was full, and I mean full. They were selling all the old stuff for what ever they could get. There was my bike trailer! No bikes! The young lady told me the tires were bad, "Will you give me a dollar for it?"!! I gave her five dollars! The city gave them a special yard sale permit, good for two weeks, normal is three days. What they don't sell they will take to the Salvation Army store. Did I mention she had red hair and green eyes, and could melt your heart with a smile. |

You might be able to turn a profit, and buy your self replacement wheels! |

I have been looking for several months, and this is the first one I have found for sale.
The tires, tubes seem to be fine, holding air after three day. I can't believe what these things cost new, the new model of this one is $580! I found a different brand that looks just like this one and it is $711. Made in USA! Most of the stuff was pretty bad, just yard sale type stuff, old cloths, stuffed critters. Baby things, paper back books, old car radios, VCR tapes, There were eight old computers, they wanted fifty for the lot, monitors and all. All were CRT's. May not have been worth hauling home? A lot of pressed board furniture. One gas cloths dryer. They were keeping the washer. One nice ATV. didn't look too close at it, big, they wanted $3500, they checked with the dealer and he gave them the price for quick sale. I am going to check on them later and see how they did. Very nice young couple, I hope the best for them. She kept calling me "Sir", I told her the name was PaPa! |
