Anyone use an allen trailer?

i saw an ad in 'bike' magazine for allen trailers, available at specialty bike shops and walmart.

their website specifies plastic, quick release tires, 70 pound limit.

the weak link appears to be where the tow arm connects to the body.

could you describe your usage and note wear points on it, please?

thanks much.

A 70 pound limit on a two-wheeled trailer? That seems rather low...

I googled it and found one at Walmart for $179. That's way too much money for a cheap child trailer. Buy a used one off of Craigslist and save your money.

thanks much for the input. hadn't explored pricing yet. an lbs has a hard used trailer (disremember the brand, but one i recognized at the time) for $100 without mounting hardware. the mounting stuff is $60. woof.
