new reflective product
At the Norfolk, Virginia BikeFest a couple of weeks ago I had FIKS Reflective installed on ""THE BEAST"". These are reflective rim strips that work quite well. I am attaching a photo of them with the flash on and off. These are NOT recommended for bikes with rim brakes though. If you have any questions please message me or leave a comment. As most of you know I am all about being seen so I am just passing this product along. Here's the link to their Facebook page....

..These are NOT recommended for bikes with rim brakes though.. with a steel wire thru the center . I was able to lace it amongst my spokes , it provided the reflective ring, but since it was above the rim, it did not get clouded by dirt and aluminum, by the usual rim brakes .. like the reflective ring you get in the sidewalls of many tires sold these days. [or that thing as described] That would be a good thing to put back into production .. |

If you have disk brakes, or any brakes that aren't rim brakes, you could put any kind of reflective tape on your rims. I don't see what's so unique about this product.

I sent them an email to see if they have a product that will fit the clincher rims on my Worksman cruiser.

Might want to send an email with the wheel size and, perhaps, a photo of the rim if it's an oddball looking thing.

Thanks but all that info can be had with a visit to the Worksman web site.
