Big guy + big kid = bigger wheel?
Hi,
I just bought a second-hand Fuji Touring Series III and plan on carrying my kid on a back rack mounted baby seat.
I weigh around 220lb, and my kid around 30lb (maybe a bit more). I was wondering if I should already think of getting a sturdier back wheel to carry our combined weight? Maybe a 48 spokes instead of 36...
Are there any fixed recommendations in that respect?
Thanks.
