The World on my XtraCycle, seriously!
 

Well, this is the craziest thing I've ever done. :rolleyes: I have the entire world spinning on my bike. Trying to get ready for the Christmas parade here in town with Bike-SBY (local advocacy group).
This year's theme is "Around the World" and as you can see, I am the world around which other nations are going to orbit. Other bikes will have appropriate national kits/flags etc...

Still have work to do, the world spins, but I need to paint my contraption and provide some illumination for the night time parade.

Are those the new X-2 Xtracycle bags?

If so, what are your thoughts on them, compared to the original Freeloaders?
I just ordered the Dummy bags for mine. My original Freeloaders are showing their age hard.

There was a thread somewhere asking about the X-2 vs. the Dummy bags. I didn't think to subscribe to that thread.

Is that reflective tape wrapped around your spokes? That alone looks pretty good too.

I am really thinking a future version could be a disco ball, with change color lights, and sound system..... break out the double knit.

Berlin, MD Xmas Parade. The video doesn't show how well the globe "glowed" for the crowd. Every kid from 4-8 years old would yell...."WOW! That's the world!"
We had about 30 bikes in the parade.


Day Time Parade: Salisbury, MD - Turn out by our bike folks was low because the parade was postponed.
