Question Best 20" road tire?

I need a tire with the most durometer density for long lasting road use. I have used the Odyssey 'path' tire , it lasted me about 1.5 years on my Heavy Dudty cycle truck.

I was hoping to find a list of tires for heavy duty use. But I can't find any info about the density of the rubber.

Can any one tell me?

I have been using Schwalbe big apples. They last about 5000km on a Cetma cargo bike. Schwalbe marathons last even longer, but don't ride as nicely.
I have worn out kenda krad, primo comet and v-monster, maxxis hookworms, and other 20" tires and none of them came close to the Schwalbes for durability. I am not sure if rubber density is the only factor in the longevity of tires and I have no idea what it is in any of my tires. 1.5 years is a long time for me, but I put lots of mileage on my bikes.

The Nokian Tires , made in Finland. seem quite long wearing rode a 9 month Bike tour from SW Ireland to NE Scotland
and there seems little tread wear (a 622-40 A10)..& still using the 559-50 studded ones I got in 91..

And also, still working on making much wear at all on the marathon plus that came on my Bi Fri 3 years ago..

and the 16" 349 on the Brompton a year or so more. still going strong ..

That sounds like a defect that the warranty would cover. They get excellent reviews from a great many people, so it can't be a common problem.

a man in the review business told me that they had problems with the rubber for a while. But there was never any warranty for tires except the armadillo tire.

Do the Marathons now have a warranty?
