For the cyclists in that video, I agree that the only way to keep them safe would be to remove them from the roads completely.

I think the best lanes shown there were the ones with the poles spaced about 4 feet apart give or take. Prevents cars from using the bike lane but allows the cyclists easy access in and out of the lane. The one with the slightly raised bump is not bad but could cause some problems for entry and exit.

Heck, in all those videos how many fast kitted up cyclists did you see? Those regular folks are exactly the general population. |
