Criticism seems to be easier than constructive-ism

I think this is "constructivism," just with humor. OK, maybe not a lot of humor. Seriously, sometimes, we just have to have enough confidence in the strength of our argument to let someone else have the last word.

internet arguments = 2040000 hits
https://www.google.com/search?num=100...rnet+arguments
internet agreements = 5390000 hits
https://www.google.com/search?num=100...net+agreements
Maybe there's hope but a lot of the agreements seem to be legalese for EULA contracts or similar.
I'm not disagreeing. Your post is constructive and there should be more from cyclists like you, Indy8va (sp?) and others willing to try and listen to both sides of the argument. Then we can try and reach some sort of "middle way". It won't satisfy everyone, compromise rarely does, but it's a darn sight better than the constant "No, you" bickering.
...in my own childish way, "constructive....ism" seemed funnier.

Very loosely related, this reminds me of someone's sig I saw once that said "We used to think if we gave a million monkeys typewriters, they would eventually come up with the complete works of Shakespeare. Now that we have the Internet, we know we were wrong."

[sarcasm]And of course, I don't see myself in the cartoon at all. It's about the rest of you.[/sarcasm]
Sometimes when I read these threads, I think about these two:
If I remember right, they end up trapped alone on a lifeless planet at each other's throats for eternity. I don't want to be one of those two.

Does that mean you have come to the conclusion that bike lanes are not necessarily the work of Satan and you can live and let live with their presence/existence?
