Looking for cycle tour honeymoon July 6-13th...
My fiance and I are getting married in Banff on July 1st. We are spending the 2nd through 5th doing things with our attendees. After that, we want to go on a 1 week cycle tour honeymoon.
We are decently fit. We could ride 50 to 100Km a day without too much trouble, depending on the terrain.
We thought about doing Jasper to Banff, but the hostels don't seem very private and the food stops seem sparse, etc. We think we want to avoid tenting along the way because of the bears.
What other trips could we do ?
Thanks.

Don't worry about the bears. Only like 1 person gets eaten per year in the Canadian Rockies. More people get killed by spouses and crossing the street. I'm not even joking, I'm in the mountains all the time, the bears are not a major concern for the locals. The Icefield Parkway would be the only way to do it.
So in conclusion ; tent it!
