Calling winnipeg cyclists!!!
hey winnipeggers!
so this weekend was free weekend (ppl put stuff out on the curbs for people to take)
now i wanted to look for a cheap 10 or 12 speed to make myself a lil project fg/ss since im at home all day on disability cuz of (ta da!) a bike accident.
now i go out in the morning and ya i saw bike, but it was people with trailers connected to their bike or car/truck/van with like 5 or 6 bikes in them. i live in st james, but my mom who lives in transcona said she had the same kind of people around her too. now i just wanted /1/ to work on. all i ask is 1 10 or 12 speed. i dont care if its high end or anything. if its got straight/straightish wheels and it pedals ill live.
im calling on you guys! anyone got a free 10-12 speed for me? i got screwed this weekend, and i need something to do other than sittin at home watchin tv and sitting on the internet.
Thanks winnipeg

Hey man... I don't know if you still need a bike for a project (winter comes soon) but check out one of the following: The Bike Cage (where I volunteer) at 444 Burnell St., The Bike Dump at 631 Main, the Bike Dungeon at U of M. There are others but these are the ones I can think of that might apply to your location.
