Calgary and area rides
I'm looking to start week ends or even evenings rides in the Calgary and areas. It would be for families like a casual ride of a few kms and some chit chat type of ride. Anyone would be interested?

bikebike.ca does full moon rides, usually on a Friday, but this month 8th April, it's on Saturday. Gather at the shop around 6.45-7.15pm, ride to a local park, listen to music, singe some hotdogs, chat, consume some err...pop! and generally hang out. Details on the website or call them.

The Elbow Valley Cycling Club does TONS of rides. It's $30 a year for an individual membership (basically covers the group insurance for you - nobody's making any money) and they have organized rides all the time. Visit them at www.elbowvalleycc.org if you haven't already.
