Jacket recommendations
 

Hey guys,
I've never done any winter riding, but would like to start riding to work, maybe once the ice is gone because that scares me. But I want to get a good jacket and thought I would take advantage of that current 20% sale at Ebay. I live in Central Wisconsin and my ride to work is about 35 minutes.
What are your thoughts on these 3 jackets?

These look pretty good, one thing I insist on is being able to tighten up about the neck and sleeves, and these sure seem to do that.

For winter riding, I just go with a generic hooded windbreaker and layer up as needed underneath. If I don't need the hood, I stuff it down the inside back. Otherwise, it fits under the helmet quite nicely for another 20 degrees or so head protection before needing a beanie. My current is some variation of this from Columbia:

these looks like cycling specific jackets. if you don't have a belly, they might fit OK. research how they fit in other buyers reviews before you order on-line. I bought a cpl things this fall that technically "fit" but they feel funny or awkward. I have big hips & a bit of a belly

My wife got me this Pearl iZumi jacket for Xmas (not sure where she purchased it from). I had simply asked for a dayglo green cycling jacket. But this is my first cycling-specific windbreaker jacket and I could not be happier with it. It's just simple, thin, light nylon (think parachute material), and isn't lined. But that's good. It is absolutely perfect at blocking the wind. And so...based on the air temperature, I simply wear heavier or lighter base layers/jackets and just put this on as my outer layer. In the high 30s/low 40s(F°) I wear it over a a couple of tech t-shirts and am fine. Below those temps I wear a lined jacket under it. It provide a degree of water resistance too. Sleeves are removable for when it gets warmer.

Jackets everywhere. And yet, there’s plenty room for more! Urban commuting etc.

O perfect jacket, where art thou?
E.g. looking for a winter jacket which features: extra isolation (= two-layer combo), pit-zip vents (!), helmet-friendly hood, acceptable balance wind- & waterproofness / breathability, durable, something nice to wear, ... AND c’mon please no smartphone price tag.
