Anyone Using Castelli Spettacolo ROS Gloves?
Anyone useing Castelli Spettacolo ROS gloves?
https://www.castelli-cycling.com/us/...451852618A-010 Does the zipper open to expose the hand or is there some kind of membrane or other fabric under the zipper? How cold have you used it and for how long? Effective? Subjective question but how is the bulk? I'm looking for something less bulky than a full gauntlet style ski glove. -Tim- |
Fortunately it never gets this cold here in So. Cal. I use the Castelli Lightness gloves and they work well for the coldest days here. https://road.cc/content/review/33641...ightness-glove |
It'll take a cold day in Hell MI for me to shell out 90 bones for a pair of gloves.

FWIW, I'm in Toronto and I wore the Scudo on a ride today, temp was 6C, windy and partly sunny. My hands were cold, but guessing this is as cold as it gets down your neck of the woods. I was taking it easy today to, Strava estimated 110W for the 2.5 hours I was out, maxing out just over 200W (no real climbs).
I don't see the Scudo on their web site but Jenson and Competitive both have it on sale now. I might pickup another pair as they make great winter city gloves. |
Too specific, have your LBS call their Castelli vendor.
