Keep the studded tires on !

As warmer temps crop up every now and then during winter the trails go into their ice stage, so the studded tires make riding a bit safer. Winter is far from over yet and I'm hoping for a good dropping of snow.

Intersections can be a challenge, just have to ride with light hands.

This person clearly didn't get the memo
(I had no issues, because Dillinger tires have 240 studs per tire )

Was climbing an iced up hill with my fat bike yesterday. The path is asphalt but being in a ravine the ice and snow could not melt in the sun so it was a literal ice rink.

Although both my tires are studded, I kept hearing my rear wheel slide as I was pedalling. I didn't have any problems with them anywhere else I was riding through ice. I guess uphills are still a challenge but at least I was still moving up.

Encountered freezing rain and sleet after President's Day. That was a nasty ride with icicles forming on my rain jacket. Temps have spiked up to 40-50 after Friday. There will be a couple of days in the 60's this week. Spring's a-coming.

There's no guarantees in March. We got 5" of snow last night in NH. I'll admit I get lazy with my shoveling when I know it isn't going to last more than 2-3 days, but I'm not taking off the studs yet.
