Winter isn't a complete loss yet.

It's been a dud this year for winter fat bike riding. Just when I was going to give up hope for any real good trail conditions, I find the local trail in my backyard was groomed and riders have been packing it down. I've spent the last two early morning while the temps are still below freezing playing for a few hours and getting out before the warmup too much. So, I guess winter isn't that bad after all.

I like the new camera mount directly behind the front wheel & in front of the back wheel! good job keeping it between the directional beacons! I don't do well on narrow paths.

I find I'm better on the narrow paths if I keep the bike in a higher gear with a low cadence. Of course that leaves me at risk of immediately bogging down should I encounter a soft spot. A lot of powder here most of the time so I appreciate the occasions when the paths setup rock hard.

I forgot I had that camera mount for some reason, I like it there. Not easy staying on the narrow parts, just have to keep reminding myself to look further ahead.

Most of winter has been a dud and very challenging slushy snow, so it was great to find this network groomed a bit.
