New Grips
Just got in a new pair of Ergon Grips for my bike, haven't got them on yet, but they look great hopefully they will take some on the numness out of my hands after a while, got them from calhoun cycle.com, a great place to shop, has anyone used them before? and reviews???

I put them on a pair of old hybrids my wife an I use around town. I like them - the width encourages a looser grip that is more comfortable on long rides. They didn't properly fit these bikes so I cut them down a bit -- still comfortable.

Numb hands? I used to have the same problem until I rode with a friend with some bike setup experience. He had me move my seat backwards on the rails which took weight off my wrists. Now I no longer have numb hands. Have you tried ergonomic/setup changes on the bike?

They help. A lot, in fact.
Alas, they don't solve the underlying problem, which is that you're putting a lot of weight on your wrists in the same, ergonomically improper (twisted flat, as I assume you are using something similar to flat bars) position for an extended period of time. |
I used the new grips today, they are great, my hands felt fine for the whole two hour ride, i give them 5stars!!
