Surley Pugsley
Surly had 65 bikes set up for US import. 23 of them(so far) have ended up in one town with a <20,000 population . What do we know that no one else does?

I guess Yoopers have got their priorities straight! There are quite a few down in this area too... sold a handful from our shop, and seen quite a few on the trail too.

Or you could support your (well, my) local designer and American builders and buy a 9:ZERO:7. Aluminum frame runs $499, Ti for $1899; some folks have built up sub 25 pound rides using the Ti frames.
Also locally made is the Fatback, which are quite popular locally (obviously).
Shipping from AK can be prohibitively expensive, so anyone ordering from out of state should arrange for the bike to be outfitted for touring, and I'll ride it to where ever you live for free (offer only good for snowbelt states, expires in March
).

Fatbacks are awesome, a local guy has one and its great. Unfortunately Salsa isn't stocking the Mukluk until March :-(

picked mine up in VT locally. shop had three of them.
problem with snow bikes is that no one is thinking snow bike until it snows... and then they are gone.

Could always go for the Mukluk...both are from QBP
The Mukluk also comes with Twist Shifts which are probably a better choice for thick gloves.
