What do you think of this jacket?
Here. Another question I have is, what size? I measured a 41 tonight, which is between sizes on their chart. The last time I tried to order a jacket from Performance, a "Large" was more like a "Huge", so I'm thinking the smaller size is what to get (yes I want to layer, but I'd need a couple sweaters to fill that size "Huge" one).
Oh and which color? My bike and some gear is blue, but I like the yellow for visibility (plus it's very "maillot jaune" like ).

Well I got it, despite the lack of encouragement here. Took it out today in the very chilly weather, and I must say that it was worth every penny, and that's without using its waterproofness yet. The "Medium" is just right for me (and I'm not a little guy -- 6', 195lbs).

It wasn't hot, huh? What was the weather like on the ride? I'm scared to get anything without pit zips. Does that have pit zips?

No pit zips. The way I see it, I road in all weather conditions in upstate NY during my college days and never had a jacket this nice, so I don't need pit zips. The weather was sub 40, with a strong headwind on the way out (icy hands... I need winter gloves, fall ones aren't cutting it). I layered a polypro/wool base layer, a long sleeve jersey and the jacket. My torso was the most comfortable part of me (arms were good too).
It's getting up into the 50s next week; we'll see how the jacket does in balmier temps.
BTW, this is the jacket I really wanted, but for an extra $60 I can live without the extra features (that's like the cost of two decent winter jerseys or some badass gloves, which I really need).

I wouldn't get another jacket without pit zips. I have a windstopper jacket without them that tends to sweat. I think pit zips extend the comfort range and usability of a jacket. In fact, even when it's in the 20s, I keep my pit zips unzipped. Nothing gets in per se, just gets out.
I bought this jacket recently when it was $109 at REI. Actually, I my jacket was a promotional deal and I'm not sure if they have it anymore, but this one looks basically the same:

Hood zips off or stows in the collar. It's not cycling specific, but it works fine on the bike and I can use it anywhere.

Here's REI's cycling version of that jacket:

And here's the jacket I decided on instead:

-love it. A chest pocket would be nice, but no jacket has everything...
