I came across these the other day for the first time. Can anyone suggest a supplier? All the ones I have looked at so far seem to be off line.

Any help appreciated

So far no one supplies them outside of the US. Or am I wrong? If you know better please post!

Mountain Equipment Coop (MEC) has them...

You can also check out: 'Pat's Small Engine Plus' online...Minnesota based.
I spotted a pair that looked like they could cover a volkswagen.
I was told to check with companies that sell snowmobiles to find bigger Pogies.

I used to row, and we would make our own pogies for those cold mornings. Just get a pair of really warm socks and cut a hole in either side. Easy and cheap!

The Serratus ones are the ones I am seeing all over but, they are not available due to Serratus not trading now.
any other suggestions?

Just FYI I have been using Pogoes for about 7 years with great success. A few years ago my wife and I actually started making them for resale and added a few features to what was on the market. I know this sounds like a shamelss plug...but you can check them out at AMF Moose Mitts - AKA Pogies

If you don't mind waiting a few weeks we are in productions and catching up on all outstanding orders. I just ordered more material and in the new year we are planning to be ahead of the ordering frenzie.

Sorry if it sounds like an ad...just wanted to let you know we are out there and still making/selling them.

BTW I rode last night 11 degrees with wind chill with only Pearl Izumi Gel Lite long finger (summer gloves)...No problems. As for feet I have been having good luck with my Answer Winter Boots and using a chem. warmer.

Thanks Sherpaboy am off to check out that link now, and I apologise for my delay but I lost this site.
Ok, been, seen, will they work with drop bars? That is what I need them to fit as does my boss...

Shen_1_1 01-02-05 06:16 AM

And will you ship to the UK. Want a proof reader? :)

Shen_1_1 01-02-05 06:52 AM

Right now having read your policies I realise you are currently unable to ship to the UK. Can you though ship to Canada? If so, and they can fit drop bars then a purchase may be made.

I cancelled an order I was putting together today for socks from a well known trading post. Why? Simply a rip off freight charge to the UK. I send stuff to North America every month, I know what it costs. Sheesh it annoys me that these big outfits think they can charge triple the rate and it's cool. They forget it costs them in lost custom and bad publicity. Especially the publicity.

I wonder how many people I will put off trading with them by the time I have yakked on a couple of forums.

Idiots.

Oh, so that's what pogies are.

I'm from southern California, what do I know?

They have a similar product for motorcyclists called "Hippo Hands".
