See for yourself. The most rusty parts are on my bike are surface rust on the brake nuts and disk brake nuts. No my frame is not rusty, that's the special edition wood grain paintjob

Roby!

I have a Brodie Ocho - bought it because of the disc brakes and internal hub. Overall I really like it, and the internal hub is really great. I have some big hills in my daily commute, and the gears are really nice to have.

After two weeks riding the bike, I can say that I am very happy with it. Very stable ride. Quite comfortable with the Schwalbe CX Pro tires. Had no problems riding in the snow and slutch. The disc brakes are quite good, except for the fact that the front brake squeels a little (suggestions on what to do?). Considering the hills I have on my ride to work in the morning, I think that I will change the 44t chainring for a 40t. Otherwise, very happy.

Some disc brakes squeal. My front disc on my Centrum use to screech but only when wet. I would try to lightly squeeze the brake to remove the water then squeeze harder to stop. Also wouldn't it be cheaper to change out the back cog then the chain ring?

Actually, its about the same price. About 30$. If I change the back cog (which is a single speed freewheel), my chain will also be too short...

Got a 40t chainring last week to replace the 44t. Cost 32$. Much better gearing for my moderately hilly ride to work. Very happy with the setup now.
