Huron Mountains and Porcipine Mountains. Highest point in Michigan is Mt. Arvon at 1979ft(just a little west of the Huron Mountains). And hey, in college I climbed Mt. Pleasant whilst drunk!
Don't forget that the Lake is at about 600 ft above sealevel, so the actual height of Arvon is only about 1,379 above Lake level.
