i have to get back to running. i'm all full of excuses with losing the free gym membership and the weather being dismal. next 5K is in 2 weeks and i haven't run at all since the last one. it's funny how being busy and stressed out doesn't leave time for exercise, but the lack of exercise makes me more stressed out... but then i get stressed out when i think about going for a run but have too much other stuff to do.
fortunately i've been getting out of the house a lot more, so even though i'm eating like crap and not running, i haven't gained any weight back yet.
it's snowing again.
January's a tough month to get out, weather wise. Try setting an appointment for yourself and do a timed midday run. 15 or 20 minutes is fine. And it's usually with warmest part of the day.
