hey daniel, man it was a pain. neither the cane creek or campy style headsets worked. local mechanic found something that worked through trial-error.

gonna slam the caad10?

tmonk, i was on LA as a D. did SD RR and some TTTs as a C, but my RR performances were pretty bad. i didn't want to upgrade until i won a crit. didn't happen unfortunately. happy with 4th at davis, santa barbara, and reno though.

collegiate was awesome. with 75 bucks for team dues, our transportation/rooms/registration fees were covered 100%.
We only skipped SLO, because of a history of bad injuries there, and Humboldt due to distance, but we did represent socal with uci in Reno.

Ya, the semester after I graduated they finally hosted a road weekend...
RR was full of Roubaix-type crappy roads, power climbs and wind.
TT was uphill
Crit was through campus and pretty much straight up and down a hill, barely big-ringable.

Damn.

I never went as far down as UCSB to race but I did intern there (materials research lab) during the summer of '09 and road the crit course every wednesday night during practice.

Is that 1 spacer?

If not, than get some really thin ones and lower it a spacer every couple weeks until you feel that you have gone too low.

There's no reason not to.

Where did you find one of those? I've tried looking for one to replace the cone on my Tarmac but not really sure what I'm looking for.

Updated because I got a deal on some essentially unused DA 7700 carbon tubulars. And I also have November Bicycles 50mm/58mm tubulars on order since I got a big ol' bonus from work.

Couple of questions. What size frame? How tall are you? What is your cycling inseam?
You already know I think this bike is hot.

thanks!

Thanks! That is some serious drop to the bars. Makes my neck ache just looking at it, but I'm an old man.
I think a 6 degree stem would move it right up where I'd need it.

I have purchased a new racing bicycle frameset. Hoping to build it up this weekend, will post a picture once it's completed.
