Good suggestion.
I was thinking it would be cool to tape off the gloss black and grey stripe portions on the fork, then paint the red part matte black. It's carbon so I would have a car place do it or something.
But at the same time, I am in need of a new frame because there is a minor but terminal dent on the non-drive side of the downtube. If I go with the Soul Faith frame, (a real possibiltiy), I wont need to paint it at all.

My girlfriend is taking her single speed into get powdercoated soon and I was thinking about doing my aluminum Cervelo at the same time. The grey & red scheme of the '08 Soloist can be tiresome.

Post here if you get your cervelo redone. I have the same frame and don't mind it at all.

I don't dislike it per se, it's far and away the best bike I ever owned... but I am a fan of a solid black or white bike. Probably just save for a new frame down the road instead of changing this one. I do however have a new group coming in soon, will post up a pic once it's ready to go for the season.

I've got a grey/red soloist team, and I'm thinking/planning on getting powdercoated black this next winter.
it's a good plan.

If you have one of the grey ones in a 54 up for trade, PM me. I actually wanted that one but I got mine off a guy on craigslist. He only had the one

God, I love the look of the Skeletor. I'll be building up a new frame after this season, and I keep thinking about building up one of these. Have you raced it yet? How was it? Also, what did you race prior to this? I need to find somebody close to me that has one, and try it out.

First race completed on it last week. Looks are gone, Speedplay Zero-Ti pedals now on it...other than that no changes.
