when I got old it just stopped agreeing with me. I do enjoy it, it just doesn't enjoy me...or something like that.

Look, I'm not saying I wished the guy was banned but he had plenty of warnings more so from within this community than even thinking about the mods. It just doesn't make any sense to me why guys go to the road forum all hot and bothered to prove they're right about something. If some guy thinks steel is better why does anyone care? If his science is from the pre-enlightenment error why does it matter? Getting worked up to the point where you get banned, and then perma-banned just makes no sense at all. We have a nice little community here, but it's still linked to the other and getting booted from here because how you act there just isn't worth it. But he's been on that road for quite some time and the results were predictable.

He has a way of making "he said - she said - I said - you said" arguments go on for pages .... which probably contributed to the decision. Anyway, Tom S. sounds like he's open to a "compromise".
