2:15 on the TT bike. First ride on it with the new saddle, and after the retul. 3x3' vo2max intervals somewhere in the second half of the ride; those were not fun (as if they ever are), and doing them in the TT position didn't help matters.

Still feeling a wee bit sick and today's weather is gorgeous (low 80's F and sunshine). Not too ill to go to work, but not well enough to go out and train. Only easy bike commuting today. I am not enjoying this.

Actually, Mollusk had it wrong, we're not in the low 80s. We set a record. 85 °.

Yeah it was the mid 60s today. I had to start off with arm warmers. Then they got sweaty and I rolled them down. Ugh.

Yeah, I imagine those parking garage intervals get you overheated mighty quick.

Edit: bah, you're not in Florida. Strike my pith from the record, and go climb Brasstown Bald.

we watched this at a cheesy camelot style bed and breakfast during my gf's bday. good times.

for the record, it (the b&b) was located about a few miles past the convenience store/restaurant on the 76 heading up towards Palomar.

Only 2100 feet today. I picked the mostly flat route. I don't head to the big hills. The rollers around here are enough for me.

We pretty much stop racing in the summer and start again in the fall. And even then some of the late Spring and early Fall races are way too hot and humid even if you have an 8:00 am starting time.

This time of year is usually really nice, though.

Why are you doing hill repeats during a recovery week?

I think a rest week can include just about anything, as long as there isn't much of it. Doesn't have to be all z1/2.. (Back when I did structured training anyway)

Heh - I'll be careful.. I'm really not a indoor riding kinda guy.

Especiallly when training w/out a fan next to a space heater.. not the best setup but I gotta keep my better half happy! (and warm)

I hope that the extra sweat will pay off somehow.
