Try to ride hard or long, fail, and then hate yourself.

Well, that is what I do.

I noticed Nate's arms are getting bigger in a recent post in the pictures thread.

OT: The plan was 6 big gear intervals last night, I cracked in the middle of #4 and tucked my tail and went home.

Optical illusion. I'm just trying to make Hammy feel better since he's gone on that Oreo binge.

Since the last race of the season is behind me I'm enjoying a solid week of drinking beers, smoking d00bs, eating whatever I want and not riding my bike. I need a little break from that mf.

Racing failure... I planned to do the team sprint at NorCal elite state track championships. Late Friday, one of the guys canceled due to work conflict. I showed up and tried to get a 3rd but no luck. I could have raced the kilo or the 4k pursuit, but I am a 500 m / 2k guy. I did the warmup and watched some racing.

Pulled a muscle in my back yesterday while changing the battery in the eurovan. No riding for me today. I need to rest for the death valley road stage race this weekend, but I wanted to do a ride today and rest tomorrow.
